Forward Movement

It may be cliche, but T.G.I.F.!
It seems to be some type of universal theme that Fridays are the best day of the workweek. Productivity is normally at a low, with distractions running rampant. Business casual dress drops to casual which can be interpreted numerous ways. Some of the people in the office appear to have stumbled in still wearing their pajamas.
It’s the second day of A’s school play in which she stars as the Main Fairy. Watching the kids on stage last night was just really fun as you could tell that they were all having a really great time. Even more fun is watching my daughter transitioning from girlhood to being a young woman.

The Bog of Eternal Patience
When it comes to waiting, I’m not really good at it. As a kid, I would shake the gifts under the tree and when no one was looking, I would peel the tape off and peek in to see what was there. Then the agony of having to wait until Christmas morning to play with the gifts and pretending to be surprised would just kill me.
I’m no different really as an adult which is probably very sad but not something I’ve really felt the need to change. So, I’m playing with my new Christmas gift (with Hubby’s permission) but having to hide it from the girls to remain a good example. Yeah, right.

Changes are a-foot (or is that a-paw?)
Lately, life has just been an absolute blur, even more than it’s normal chaotic blur. We’ve been working weekends, evenings, losing sleep all along the way trying to get Hubby’s business of the ground. The daily work situation for me has remained pretty much the same over the course of two years which is not saying anything good. BUT things are about to change for the better.

Lola Howls at the Moon (or Sun)
One of the things I'm working on should make my life less stressful in the near future. I've got a couple of options available, one of which I'm really counting on to come through.
While this insanity is going on around me, we're also preparing for a SASS event that hubby wants to attend in Vegas in early December. This means dresses for daughter T and me that are only 1/3 sewed so far. My original intention had been to purchase said dresses but hubby thought it much better to handcraft them.
